Bun Ly likes singing Keo Sarath’s songs

Mr. Bun Ly, 27, who is singer at restaurant, likes to choose songs of then-popular singer Keo Sarath to sing because his voice is similar to his. He was born in Kratie province and he has started his singing career at restaurant in Phnom Penh, According to Kohsantepheap newspapers.

Mr. Bun Ly is the youngest son out of 7 siblings over family. His parents were former Khmer classic musicians. It was because of poor family, he quitted his parents and motherland in 1994 for Phnom Penh. He completed 9th grad.

When he was in Phnom Penh, he was trained how to sing in art club for 3 months and then he left and found his own career as singer at beer gardens.

More than 10 years he has started his career as singer. He has always been invited to sing at concerts aired on local televisions channels. And he recorded songs for overseas productions which required him to sing Keo Sarath’s songs.

He was quoted by Kohsantepheap newspapers as saying that he learns to sing over 100 songs of Keo Sarath.
