Actress Mai wins Vios Lady Cup at Sepang

KUALA LUMPUR : Actress "Mai" Sukhontrava Kerdnimit stormed to win the Vios Lady Cup at the Toyota Motor Sport 20011 in Malaysia last week.

Representing Toyota Star team, Sukhontrava was in front from the start and claimed the title in 23.51 minutes after eight laps at Sepang International Circuit.
The second place went toThanyamai Kongkarnka (24.08) while Thippawan Poorayub (24.11) took the third spot.
Sukhontrava said she was excited to become winner in front of thousands of fans at the circuit.
"I am very happy and excited," said the soap opera star from Thai TV Channel 7.
"I have been waiting for it for a long time."
The event was the second leg of the Toyota Motor Sport 20011 series and the Malaysia race was the only one held outside Thailand.
In its second straight year in Malaysia, the tournament was part of the Super GT International Series.
In the Yaris One Make Race event, "Phai" Phathit Pisitkul, who is also an actor from Channel 7, finished third in 23.25.295 minutes while the title went to Arthit Ruengsomboon (22.53.474) and Chen Jian-Hong came in second (22.53.715).
In the Vios One Make Race with 24 cars, the title was won by Chairat Luanglai (23.52) while Dajpol Thongpoon (23.55) and Awirut Khawbor (24.05) came in second and third.
Kanokphan Chulakasem, governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, who was at the circuit, said it was a good experience for the Thai drivers to compete in such a great environment.
The next leg of the Toyota Motor Sport 20011 will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima from July 23-24.
